That kind of laugh!

A few good men, professionals and all that… Standing together, huddled and whispers are heard. Then there is this sound of a laugh. Slightly muffled, slightly self-conscious, slightly juvenile, almost like a giggle… and then you know that someone has passed a risque comment or cracked a silly joke. No one would ever believe that these *senior* guys could crack up in this part-embarassed manner but hear the laugh and you will know what I mean! For that one rare moment, they are back to being their silly, natural selves.
