You guessed it; braving sniffles, sore throats and feverishness, I watched ‘Hyderabad Blues – Part 2’ and the late night seems well worth it. A note of caution, though: Please don’t compare it with the Part 1 film. That was a different film and this is another.
Varun is back with his lovely wife, Ashwini (no longer Rajashree Nair of Part 1 but Jyoti Dogra, as charming!), his ne’er-give-up pals Sanjeev and Seema, his English-spouting uncle with the red bow tie, Shashi Aunty with the excited pallu and his grrr-inducing parents. Dil Pe Mat Le Yaar, …. makes another appearance. More candid talk, some hilarious shouting matches between Varun and his parents… Nagesh is a cool dude…
What more do I say without giving away anything? Watch it…:-)

I seem to recall some other occasion (‘Sleepers’? ‘Holy Smoke’?), but if my faulty memory has attributed someone else’s actions to you, please accept my apologies π

Arre, i recall a review of ‘Holy Smoke’ which pretty much gave everything away, but perhaps it wasn’t written by you?
At any rate, it’s all long gone, i just wanted to thank you for writing an enticing review of ‘Hyderabad Blues 2’ without giving much away.

yep.
HB2 should be watched as a stand alone movie without much comparison to the first one.
