Quite a random subject, my apologies…:-) I was reminded of an old Apache Indian song which contains the words ‘new stylee’…whatever it means.
I’ve changed my journal’s format… Yoo Hoo! I’m not too happy with the colour combination; lost the patience required to scroll through that multi-coloured mosaic, whatever it’s called… I like the colour combo used by hariputtar; beige and forest green, I think… Can’t recreate that…:-(
Tips welcome…:-)

You’re right, actually π
I heard the guy live, of course not out of choice! There was a big mela in London last year, courtesy of the mayor Ken Livingstone, and he was one of the many artists who tried to get us ‘boogieing’.

but its the best age to be….

rileen says:
That would appear to a widely-held opinion.
But i have mixed memories of that age, and besides, am a firm believer in “the best is yet to be” π

Aiyyo Amma, i was talking about the attitude, not a song π

rileen says:
Perhaps my exchange with made it ambiguous – i meant that attitude, and when he quoted a song with those very words, i joked as if it were a trivia quiz etc.

The song was ‘Chok De’…’No. 1 on all the Bombay charts, something, something, new stylee, … follow me, Chok De!’..

hi,
i was in a hurry. so cud manage only a rather short (and in hindsight curt-looking) reply.
⇒ you can look at the html code / source of the following small html file and u will get the css-settings i use for hrefs, and how to set colors :
http://geocities.com/sonal_ranjan/ftp/locks_sample.html
(or you can look at the source for hariputtar.livejournal.com or any other src for that matter. u need to know how to use css.)
⇒ http://www.w3c.org has standard docs on HTML, CSS, and much more.
⇒ a very good compendium of online do-and-learn tutorials, however is at: http://www.w3schools.com/
hope it helps.

Hey locks.. i added you as a friend π
One thing – the new page format/design does not
show up when I either click into the thread
or try to reply to a post – so it only
shows up in your main page.
bye

Re: added as friend
That’s the way it is, Ramesh.. or so I thought! I mean, the page, as I have designed it, only appears if you go to my journal and read my entry. In case of comments, the format disappears…
