This was a nice weekend. Ended up feeling a bit feverish a couple of times on Sunday, though..:(

Went for a walk by the Chatahoochee on Saturday evening and Sunday morning… Walked for 2 miles, Pinch says… It felt great. The weather has been glorious thankfully. Warm winter sunshine… the kinda skies I recall Bangalore to be like… Breakfasted at this supposed upmarket place called ‘La Madelaine’ on Sunday morn…
The streets were rather deserted… I wondered why and Pinch replied,”This is the South. People go to church on Sunday mornings.”

Visited the temple on Saturday morn and bumped into a colleague of Pinchoo and his wife.. The guy had us in splits describing a cricket match captained by the VP of the company…

movies(Ouch, I’d resolved to say ‘films’ and NOT movies!)..
‘Barton Fink’ last night… Hmmm hmmm, couldn’t figure out the greatness of the film, lost on me, I think!

‘Pran Jaaye par Shaan na Jaaye’.. I’d watched the last ten minutes of this film while in Cairo and found it funny and watchable… Unfortunately, that can’t be said for the entire film. Ridden with expletives and double entendres, the film totally goes over the top depicting life in a chawl in Bombay…. Pinch deserted me halfway and I somehow watched all of it…:)
