So Atlanta got its rare share of snow last week and the weekend. It threw people into a slight panic with all channels reporting instances of snowflakes and flurries from across the city and commuters scurrying home and schools closing. Well, most of the snow has melted. Some remains suspended on the leaves and laid on the lawns. The sun is out and it seems like such a marvellous contrast – but it is awfully cold and I am here at home, wearing multiple layers of clothing.
Have been gorging on the organic cinnamon-raisin bread from Trader Joes… yum. Lots of reading happening over the weekend (Cultural studies), chocolates (I am going to give them all away), baking (orange cake planned for the breakfast club event this week) and one rather significant happening… Pinch came back from TTC Phase II as an Art of Living teacher. He just completed teaching his first course yesterday. Another teacher in the city… YAY!

Congrats to Pinch!
and looks like you got it all figured out how to beat the winter: Yumm raisin bread from Trader joes. They have a seven seed dark bread – need to read the label for complete name :-))
That goes so well with nutella;
and a hot badam-dudh!
Its bitter cold here and the snow storm from last week had turned to solid sculpture. Looks like thats the way its going to be for a while now.
Stay warm.
🙂

I made the badam-pista mix that you talked about. Also added a generous measure of saffron to it. It’s over – need to make it again.
