I’ve been listening to the songs from the film ‘Boys’ since a while and thought I’d put up the links out here. I like 3 tracks mostly; haven’t heard the rest completely.
There’s this track called ‘Dating’ sung by Fluasy(?) and Vasundhara Das which has this one line which had me in splits. Any Tam/Mallu would understand what it means.
‘Aiyyo, love is full of pain, poda, love is just a strain!’…
:-)))
The other songs are Ale Ale and Boom Boom. Boom Boom is sung by Adnan Sami who does a mean, somewhat slurred Tamil accent…:-)
Neat tracks…

I worked in SEEPZ as a part of BPD. I left the organisation in Sep ’03 when I got married and had to move to the USA.
I visited the B’lore office(SNB) in Sep ’01 on a project. Fell in love with the city as it was the first time I stayed that long in B’lore.. Feasted on the food from Kadambam, walked the length of Brigade Road every weekend and had a blast…:-)
I know quite a few guys from B’lore too, not from ITSD, though.
Dunno your other ID, sorry!

I’m no Tam/Mallu, but thanks to my years in B’lore i understand that line 🙂
Of course, 10/12 words are English !!
As for Adnan Sami, is there a language in which he doesn’t do a slurred accent? (i like him, but he does produce those ‘stylized sounds’ too often for my taste)
