My NY pictures were nothing to write home about(I did write home about them, though!). Anyways, here are a few of them…
Added later:
The original pictures were much larger AND clearer. Do tell me if I should upload them in place of these miniatures.

WOW! Nice pics!
Keep the miniatures. I will have a hard time downloading the larger pics on my woefully slow dial-up. 🙁

Hey, nice pictures. Especially No 3 and No 4. The third one, I like bcos of the sea. The last one is beautiful because of the mist – gives such a cool feeling.

the skyline pic is the best composition among the above.
i liked the the first pic, too.
⋅ its akin to one of those dalis – *flowing time* pics. only difference, this one is more like ⇒ *swimming lights*. [but these two are not entirely unrelated. if stretch our imagination a bit, and ponder on the interrelation of speed of light and relativistic concept of time ?]
⋅ shaken, not stirred. (the relative coordinates of objects in pic are maintained ⇒ *not stirred*.)

Re: Where did you watch the fireworks from?
Frankly, A, I have seen fireworks of this kind in Kerala hazaar times. You know, sometime during May, Keralites celebrate a festival called Pooram. During this month, we are treated to some fantastic displays of fireworks. These were somewhat similar; jogged old memories..:-)
Don’t recall where we watched it from… There was a huge bridge under which everyone was gathered.. right next to the bay.
I have straight black-brown-coloured hair; more long than short..:-) My username is more derived from Lux, a nickname my friends coined.
