Thankfully, the reactions from another forum were encouraging! Methinks I can STILL write better if I stick to my natural self instead of getting overly influenced by other writers!

I guess the thread of events that you mentioned in the write up is universally true. Atleast there is a isomorphic mapping from your story to my personal life 🙂
I got my status upgraded to ‘boyfriend'(yes, even I detest the word and so does she) about 8 months ago. And yes, we have started fighting quite very often for sure. I strongly feel if she happens to see this particular comment, it might result in yet another fight :). It is amazing to note how many times we fighted in the last couple of months, and that too for very trivial reasons, The whole drama that happened during this patch of 8 months is more weird and melodramatic than any soap opera. And yes, my attachment towards her has grown in quite an exponential scale with each such incident :D.
Your story is a big motivation for me. Now, when we are in a stage when we are very enthusiastic about going forward, there are some instances when we sometimes pause and feel a bit afraid about how our life together will turn out to be. Sometimes it appears to be bit of a big risk, and it is/was better to stay as good friends. But I guess, it is worth taking any risk for the sake of love.
