how most countries larger than India have a common language, culture and tradition whereas our motherland has atleast 30 different languages, not to mention 2000 dialects, each with its own body of literature, poetry, art, cuisine, customs and costumes, culture and cuss words!
Can you beat it… India rocks!
A sudden surge of patriotism at 12 am… I must be going insane or turning insomniac! Watched this supposed chic-flick called The Wedding Date starring Dermot Mulroney and Debra Messing. An age-old story line of a woman dumped by her fiance, turning up at a family wedding with a *boyfriend*. Of course, he is pure make-believe till the inevitable happens. Ok, I enjoy chic-flicks (the few that I’ve seen) but this was quite a sad case. Anyways, I went along for Dermot M but he seems to have aged and not so gracefully either…:-(
Have a good weekend, amigos! May all of you be blessed with good weather whichever part of the world you are!

Unfortunately, it also offers a good oppurtunity to parochialists.

Totally agree with you Locks. Also to think that each state of ours is like a country on its own. We have so much beauty in this country, from snow, to beaches to hills…we have it all.

Seems like there is someone up there listening to you. It is like spring time here this weekend. The snow has started to melt. And we are supposed to be right in the middle of winter, eh.
