American equivalent of the cloudy white liquid that you see being consumed in old Hindi movies before the poorest of poor in movies started drinking scotch.
Wow I didn’t check livejournal all day today (which is an achievement in itself!!!)…so missed all the moonshine discourse…Lachho, cannot believe you didn’t know π
Anyway now that you know – what would you choose – sunshine or moonshine?
He knows much better than i do, but of course only you know whether it’s just a matter of patience, and not of something lacking and thus necessitating action.
If it really is a matter of patience, then as DD hinted, perhaps it’s time to do your AOL stuff seriously π
so you have done Art of Living course. π i did the basic course in 1999 – summer. i stopped taking non-veg after that. Rileen, re-labeled that movement: Art of Leaving. π
Ah, so you *did* say that in the AOL course? Good, now that i’m feeling smart, i’ll go home happy – goodnight and sweet dreams, and may you have a weekend that isn’t boring π
Boredom walks with you everyday. It’s the flip side of contentment. Words lose their lustre, love loses it’s shimmer, taste is an afterthought, touch a memory. Lose yourself in boredom because only then the simplest things will surprise you. As we get older it takes a lot for us to stop in our tracks and have that elusive smile dancing on our lips. It’s because we are always on the lookout for the next high.
Surrender yourself and you will be surprised at what else there is in store for you.
π
Seems like I pack in a lot into a day, hmmm? It’s only apparent… Like AB says in ‘Chupke Chupke’, ‘Jo dikhta hain, woh nahin hain… aur jo nahin dikhta hain, woh.. ho bhi sakta hain!’
