This is an adorable poem. I guarantee ALL of you will feel the same!
I am Very Bothered
I am very bothered when I think
of the bad things I have done in my life.
Not least that time in the chemistry lab
when I held a pair of scissors by the blades
and played the handles
in the naked lilac flame of the Bunsen burner;
then called your name, and handed them over.
O the unrivalled stench of branded skin
as you slipped your thumb and middle finger in,
then couldn’t shake off the two burning rings. Marked,
the doctor said, for eternity.
Don’t believe me, please, if I say
that was just my butterfingered way, at thirteen,
of asking you if you would marry me.

Small bad things
Many people did bad things to me when I was young below 15 years.
Once my teacher beat me with cane mistaking that I copied in the class. This was when I was in the 4th standard.
Once when I came home for lunch after walking (or running) a distance of 2 kms from my school, I found that no lunch was kept for me because the food meant for me was served to a guest. I had to run back to school without food. This was when I was in the 9th standard.
I had a mouthorgan which I used to play and walk around happily. A senior fellow borrowed it from me for a day and never returned it. This was when I was in 7th standard.
Many things like these.

Re: Small bad things
I am not keeping these things in my heart, but in my memory. They were not even worth fighting.

If they are not worth fighting for then why bother keep them in memory. Let go …memory has a habit of sticking to the negative.

i know, because sometimes some people who have passed the age of being kids seriously have a very twisted sense of humor and understanding about the world around, its when we come accross such people at close quarters and try to deal with them is when its traumatic…
