My absolutely-to-die-for hubby made idlis for me this morning and packed my lunch box. He had soaked the dal and rice a couple of days back and last night, he used the wet grinder and ground the batter and this morning, while I was doing my Kriya, he steamed the idlis and packed my lunch box. Wow, I am so utterly speechless…:-) I haven’t seen or heard or many guys who cook on their own initiative and using/cleaning the grinder is such a messy affair… and I didn’t even help him last night since I was cooking dinner and doing other stuff. He even washed those heavy grinding stones, cleaned the counter-top, wiped off all the scattered rice particles, everything… I must have done some incredibly good deeds in my past lifetime to get a soulmate like Pinch!

I don’t think he meant it as a sweet gesture.. Just that he wanted to eat idlis and took the initiative, unlike lazy me!
