Sri Sri Yoga Teachers Training Course – Montreal, Dec 2005-Jan 2006

The last two weeks were nothing less than fabulous. So what can describe them the best?

Guruji was there, Yoo Hoo!

Random thoughts come into my mind and I’ll try to put them down as quickly and as sensibly as I can…

Apple crisp, sledding on the snow, frozen lakes, knowledge tapes, midnight walks, snow shoes, warm showers, asanas, buttered scones, Anatomy lectures, warm winter sunshine, sound of shoes scrunching on the snow, starry skies, photosessions, banana nut muffins, Surya Namaskars, snow fights, Patanjali Yoga Sutras, French Kriya, maple syrup, music, masti, dance, Seva, Sadhana, Satsang, gratitude. I still have not covered all of it but my heart is so full I can hardly express anything. Like Guruji mentions, it is easy to express that which is gross but the subtle can hardly be described, even less expressed, only can be experienced. These were two unbelievably wonderful weeks and the best part is that I have brought it all back to Atlanta. Not in my suitcase, not in my notes but right here where it remains the strongest – deep within. Can hardly wait for my next visit to the Ashram and hopefully, that’ll be sometime soon to do my Phase 2 training at the end of which I should be a Sri Sri Yoga teacher. At this point, nothing would make me feel more privileged.

This is a picture I took from our Ashram kitchen window. In some ways, it’s one of my favourite pictures. Maybe it’s because the motifs on the window seem to be superimposed on the snow outside. Like what we feel within is what manifests outside of us. So lovely, huh?
