Smart, beautiful, funny?

Most of the American films that I’ve seen, the guy always describes the love of his life as ‘smart, beautiful, funny’. Ever noticed that? They rarely stray beyond these few adjectives. Once in a while, ‘confident’ pops up too. I always wondered: Why do they limit themselves to these random words? What about warm, charming, sensitive, sensible? Just a line of thought… I am reminded of a Valentine’s Day special which ran on MTV. They were interviewing celebrity couples about how they met, fell in love, etc. They asked Arshad Warsi what was it about Maria Goretti (a VJ with MTV who’s married to Arshad currently) that attracted him to her. He replied,”She’s so good and kind to old people. I know that when I grow old, she’ll still be really sweet to me!” That was such a cute answer, I couldn’t help falling in love myself! With Arshad’s charm, that is…:-)
