Thanks a lot!
I keep vacillating between extreme enthusiasm and homesickness. Homesickness featured greatly the first two months and then kinda receded. Now it seems to be back…:-(
Just one of those days, you know.. Oops, not ‘those days’!!!
Been 4 months since I landed here…
And.. learning to drive!

Smiley in the icon, ‘gloomy mood’; fluctuation between extreme enthusiasm & homesickness – not healthy :-/
I too think getting busy with thing(s) you enjoy doing should help stabilize.

We did touch on this earlier, didn’t we? Getting busy will prove to be a good distraction, I agree…

Quite likely – you’ve been mentioning homesickness for while now π

It comes along, goes away… Need to acknowledge that it exists and then carry on… Guess that’s a good stance to take.

Of course – you’re right to acknowledge it rather than pretend everything’s alright, hope you feel better soon π

Yeah, Radhika… Lots of consolations but like that ridiculous dialogue from ‘Hum Aapke Hain Kaun’ delivered by that horrible Alok Nath(HOW did I recall this??!!).. ‘Yeh mann kitna baavla hain(???), jitna milta hain, aur chaahta hain..’ or something along those lines..
Sorry, I am being extremely pakaao.. wonder why??!!
