One more weekend passeth…

I love weekends. You can sleep, totally devoid of any guilt or hurry…

Inspite of the fact that I don’t work, I can’t really sleep late. Funnily enough, I feel guilty snoozing while Pinch readies to go to work. seems like the least I can do is be awake while he leaves…:)
V-Day was fun, unexpectedly. I mean, I can’t recall Pinch and I celebrating it ever… EVER. Not that we had anything against it.. Talking about myself, I am a lazy lump and the idea of planning a romantic surprise, a gift thingy… I am lazy, that’s about it. Thankfully, Pinch knows it too and doesn’t really expect anything from me too…Yikes! I am a nut!
Anyways, this Saturday we went to the Fox Theatre where ‘Romeo and Juliet’, a musical ballet was playing. Never having gone to an event of this sort before, I expected them to enact verses from the play… Well, it turned out to be more a dance ballet… There was a full piece orchestra playing in a pit right before the stage and the last act, THAT seemed more interesting than the ballet. Not too bad but I think I’d prefer a play… or a musical ballet, in my terms…:)
The theatre was a lovely place, though. Not as large as Shanmukhananda yet huge enough… Lovely interiors and an impressive foyer and good acoustics too… Junta was dressed up, I mean, really dressed up… The women just stopped short of ball-gowns, that too on a drizzly and gloomy day.

Movies, hmmm… ‘Bollywood Hollywood'(Rahul Khanna is adorable and no one else is) and ‘Darna Mana Hain'(good film, nice concept.. flopped?) on Saturday-Sunday…

Monday kicked off and I slept like I was drugged this morn… two hours after I awoke, in fact!

Plan to make some exotic bhendi thing tonight… Guess it’s going to be an overkill, these cooking trips… On the other hand, whatever I make drags on so long that I don’t really cook that often.. there you go!
