Depp is …. sexy…

I was not a true fan of Johny Depp till I saw ‘Blow’. He’s acted well, all that.. but he’s an amazing looker. While watching ‘3 Deewaarein’, I felt that Nagesh K and Depp have similar features… A boyish face, a lean and expressive mouth, slightly wide cheekbones and a winsome smile….
Watched this film called ‘Benny and Joon’ *ing Depp, Aidan Quinn, Mary Stuart Peterson and Julianne Moore… Mary SP is a mentally ill girl, Quinn is her brother and Julianne M is his sweetheart. Depp plays the part of a weirdo… I mean, a strange guy who juggles his hat around, makes his handkerchief stick to his hand, does a whole lot of stuff.. basically steals his way into Mary’s heart… Oh, the movie was fairly okay but Johny Depp is great. He has a highly expressive face and when he smiles in that uncertain manner… and then his lips part revealing his teeth… It suddenly seems worthwhile, all the hesitation…just to watch the smile!

Some people have the most marvellous way of smiling…. Or maybe it’s that they normally have a deadpan countenance and a smile feels like a total surprise… As in, they don’t look too habituated to smiling and when they do smile… Glorious!
I can only think of Depp…Bogart? Guru Dutt? Any more?
