It is immensely satisfying to sleep next to the one you love. Be it your parent(s), child(ren), partner, pet, sibling – no matter who it is, the love you share feels so real, you can touch it. There is such comfort, such a feeling of security and completeness – it is indescribable. Time literally stands still in this moment.

🙂 Once you’re asleep, it barely matters who you’re sleeping next to, I’d think! Till the person starts kicking/talking/snoring/rolling, what have you!!!
Did you enjoy the concert?

I am going on a business trip next week and looking forward to sleeping in the bed all by myself where there will be no snoring, no one will kick me in my face or other delicare organs, no one will sleep on my legs or abdomen and no one will try to push me off the bed. Also, I’ll be free to keep my arms in any position I want and I’ll not have to worry about crushing a little one as I changed my position from my back to my side, etc.
Four nights of peaceful sleep…. here I come.

I have to say that I am blessed with a nice and cuddly sleeping partner who snores rather loudly and fidgets quite a bit.
But I would not sleep alone for the world, because if I did, who’s heartbeat would I listen to in the night?

That’s one thing I do miss now with Annika here… but doesn’t bother me as much… some day she’ll be in her own bed and then I can get this feeling back 🙂
