Over the last couple of years, I have been tending towards more and more silence. It does throw me off a bit that I am in the business of communication and don't desire to speak much any more. As I work with multiple Twitter/Facebook accounts for clients, my own voice seems to have fallen silent. My pages and feeds have begun to look and feel blank. Is this good? It may be a phase.

I think far more than your feeds and pages, what matters is whether you’re talking and communicating less in your personal life – are you?

I think that depends strongly on context and company, but it’s all fine if you’re experiencing harmony on the whole.

Silence can be both. I have been silent because there was cacophony inside and I didn’t want to add to it…and I’ve been silent because there is music inside and I do not want to divert my attention from it. 🙂
Besides, words can be unnecessarily limiting…

Harmony, yes. And the quiet is beautiful.

You’re so right about that. Reminded of something I heard Guruji mention… Truth cannot be conveyed by words. So everything is a lie anyway… 🙂 Better to be silent, no?

Truth is indeed beyond words but truths can be conveyed in words. If one wishes it.
Ime, better to be silent if you are in habit of going within and finding the Eternal within…for then you need none other and naught else. If that isn’t a habit and a discipline then the answer depends on circumstances. 🙂
