Sense of time that loosens and tightens…

Some days, it feels like I am racing against time. It marches on a rhythm of its own, and I am intent on maximizing my effort, hell-bent on squeezing every bit of activity out of it. This is what I view as time “tightening”. And then after some days of such craziness, activity runs out and there is time to spare. Time “loosens” and then I am wondering what activity to stuff into it. For I am uneasy with an expanded sense of time and feel positively that I am overlooking things to do. And the cycle continues…

My dream is the perfect balance – where both time and activity jive in divine sync and neither weighs the other down. Maybe you can call it the optimum speed of performing an activity such that the utilization of time and effort is the most efficient and at the end of the day, you can go to bed, happy and sated.

On second thoughts, go to bed, happy and sated, no matter what… ๐Ÿ™‚
